Although I am a beader, and do have some handmade pieces that I have made myself (and love), I also love my silver and gold pieces. I used to wear yellow gold and have over the last 3 years made the switch to sterling silver and/or white gold.
My favorite pieces are my new wedding ring (a band my husband and I purchased) with my mother’s diamond and a pave set round pendant and earring set my husband surprised me with 1 year ago. Both are very “vintagesque”. Although I love jewelry, I do not always love the price. The first thing I always ask my husband when he buys me something is “how much did this cost?. Kind of kills the gift giving spirit.
