Top ten reasons I am NOT at Blogher

I was tempted to try and fit it in but in the end I decided NOT to attend her. I felt like I was the onlyone not going to Blogher but apparently I am not. In fact I am at a #Notatblogher twitter party right now.

I also have a chance to win a $100 scholarship so if you read this please post!

OK, so what are my reasons?

1) our family vacation starts this week and I need to pack and clean the house – I mean who would want to miss that?

2) $…. Registration $$…. Plane Fare $$$…. Hotel $$$$…. Food $$$$$…… shopping

3) I have something going on every weekend until Labor day – this is my last free weekend.

4) I would eat too much fab food in Chicago. I need to lose, not GAIN weight.

5) I am too new to blogging – just a little over a year. I may be underqualified to attend.

6) I am not sponsored by anyone nor did I seek sponsorship (next year will be a different story!)

7) I would not be able to attend the fun #notatblogher party on twitter.

8) I would have to pay for another bag when returning home to accommodate the swag (OK – sour grapes here)

9) I would meet bloggers 1/2 my age and wonder “Am I too old to be doing this?”

10) I don’t have to post pictures, facebook, twitter and blog and keep up with my family while trying to network.
